This special hand carved Quan Yin has been in our collection for more than 5 years. We have decided it is more appropriate to offer her, so that she can rest on an altar, where she can be appreciated and inspirational. She is hand carved hibiscus wood, a perfect piece of wood, which has now aged beautifully. 

Quan Yin is the female form of the Buddha of Compassion. Her posture of 'Royal Ease' serves as a reminder that the direct experience of our true nature is always available to us to know, by relaxing and residing with the present moment, just as it is. No need for struggle, for seeking in far away lands. Just here, just now.
