I delight in bringing more images of the feminine to Buddhist Images. So many of our brilliant, clear, enlightening teachers are in women's bodies. Just some of the few I have had to fortune to encounter…Ani Tenzin Palmo, Jan Chozen Bays, Tara Brach, Yvonne Rand. Some perhaps not enlightened Buddhas yet, but superbly gifted at guiding all of us on the path to see clearly. “Form is no other than Emptiness, Emptiness no other than form. Form is only emptiness, Emptiness only Form... No eye, nose, ear, tongue, body...” So may this little Jizo Woman helps us see that women are Buddhas too and to reside in the emptiness of all.
